Receiving the Best Technical Paper Award at CV2020 conference

On March 5th, 2020, the results of the Best Technical Paper Award were announced. QuicSolv Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a leading provider of ‘Internet of Things' (IoT)’ solutions, today received an award for its project on “Increasing Assembly Line Efficiencies with the use of RTLS built over IoT”.

Infosys Limited (Building Connected Vehicle Platforms — A Practitioner’s Perspective), Elektrobit India (SOA, Network Protocols and Connected Car Framework for Future Vehicles) and Ubox(Augmenting GNSS Technologies for V2X and Automated Driving) and other renowned Indian Enterprises also received awards at the CV2020 event.

The CV2020 Star Award was established this year to create a highly interactive, knowledge-sharing and networking platform for the connected vehicle ecosystem. The CV2020 which a part of the Telematics Wire will help drive new business opportunities and foster innovation.

Using QuicSolv’s IoT solution, helped improve the effective utilization of machines, reduced downtime, helped immediately locate assets and vehicles on a digital map, improved the usage of assets and accurately calculated the processing time and cycle time with the help of IoT devices. The solution was built by using various sensors that communicated over a hyper decision framework over BLE (Bluetooth low energy) protocol. This ensured that not only real-time status information was available for decision-makers, but it assisted in machines to talk to each other and take decisions.

Finally, successful implementation of the technology helped improve the Process cycle time by 12%, TAT (Turn Around Time) by 30%, reduced Unnecessary Dwell Time by 50%

“Our clients are seeing a rapidly growing need for proximity-based assembly line efficiency improvement.” said Riyaz Lakhani, Founder & CEO of QuicSolv, he added, “We are proud to have earned this recognition. This solution has not only met the exact technical standards but also given them the confidence that our IoT devices match international standards and don’t have any negative impact on the people and systems using them.”

This announcement follows on the heels of an announcement last year that QuicSolv has received three International Standard Organization (ISO) certifications from one of the most renowned global accreditation bodies, Universal Registrars, London. And the FCC certification from the UK Certification & Inspections Labs Limited.

The patented technology for IoT, is a core element of the company’s diverse portfolio of solutions for Asset Tracking, Employee Tracking and Monitoring and Proximity Marketing for Shopping Malls.
